General information

When will the Hockey Women’s World Cup 2022 take place?

The Hockey Women’s World Cup 2022 will take place from July 1 - July 17.

Where will the Hockey Women’s World Cup 2022 be played?

The Hockey Women’s World Cup 2022 will be played in Spain and the Netherlands. The matches in the Netherlands will be played in the Wagener Stadium in Amsterdam.

When will the match schedule be announced?

As soon as the match schedule can be published, you can find it on this website.

Do corona measures apply?

At this moment there are no corona measures. From the start of the corona pandemic, the KNHB has followed government guidelines. If corona measures will apply at the time the World Cup take place, we will follow them.

Tickets

When will the ticketsales start?

Ticket sales will start on March 1, 2022.

How do I pay for the tickets?

The Eventim system accepts payments by iDeal and by credit card.

Is the ticket valid for one match or for all matches on that day?

It is a day ticket so you can watch all matches that will be played on that day.

Can I leave the stadium during the tournament and come back later?

It is possible to leave the stadium (scan out) and come back later (scan in).

When will I receive my tickets?

Your tickets can be downloaded via MijnEventim. Print your tickets in advance to get in as quickly as possible. You can always find your Ticketdirect e-ticket via your PC or laptop on the Eventim website. Log in via MijnEventim and go to 'Order history', click on 'View status now' and click on your order number. You can then print the ticket.

I have bought tickets but I can’t come after all. Can I return them?

No. Tickets cannot be returned to either the KNHB or Eventim. It's also not allowed to sell them yourself.

Something went wrong with the order or payment via Eventim. Now what?

Contact the Eventim Customer Contact Center on 0031 (0)900-1353 (€ 0.60 p / m).

Can I buy my tickets anywhere else?

Eventim is the only official ticket supplier for the matches that will be played in Amsterdam. You may come across tickets being sold elsewhere for higher prices. The KNHB takes no responsibility for this.

Can I also order for a group?

There is no special group offer. If you want to order tickets for more than 10 people or more, send an email with your request to Eventim Customer Contact Center on 0031 (0)900-1353 (€ 0.60 p/m) and we will contact you.

Do you sell special tickets for people with a wheelchair?

Tickets for people with a wheelchair (and their companion) are available. You can contact the Eventim Customer Service Center by 0900-1353 (€0,60 p/m).

Where can I buy tickets for matches taking place in Spain?

Do children up to 12 years old have to buy a ticket for the Main Stand/South Stand

Unfortunately, we don't have a special price for children at the Main Stand/South Stand and children up to 12 years old are also required to buy a ticket for this Main Stand/South Stand.

Parking

Where can I park?

It is possible to buy parking tickets for your visit to the Hockey Women's World Cup in Amsterdam.

On days when the Dutch team is not playing, you can buy a parking ticket for P1. This is within walking distance of Wagener Stadium.

On days when the Dutch team does play, a parking ticket can be purchased for the Amsterdam RAI. Shuttle buses will be available from RAI Amsterdam to the stadium. You will need to exchange your RAI parking ticket for an exit ticket immediately upon arrival at the ticket office in the entrance tent.

How do I get to the Wagener Stadium using public transport?

If you are travelling by public transport you can visit 9292.nl/en to plan your personal route to the stadium. The entrance to the Wagener Stadium is located at the Nieuwe Kalfjeslaan in Amstelveen. The bus stop at the corner of the Kalfjeslaan and the Amstelveenseweg is about a 5-minute walk from the Wagener Stadion.

Do you sell 'disabled parking' tickets?

If you want to buy a parking ticket for a person with disability, buy a parking ticket for the day you come to the Women's Hockey World Cup. This can be done directly during the ticket ordering process. You can exchange this parking ticket for a disabled parking ticket by sending an email to events@knhb.nl. As soon as these parking tickets are available, we will send them to you.

Volunteers

Can I register as a volunteer?

For how many days am I expected to sign up?

The organization has a strong preference for volunteers who are available throughout the period. In addition, the organization prioritizes positions for volunteers who indicate that they are available every day. The minimum availability is five days.

What are my 'working hours' as a volunteer?

We work with one shift during the day. Times depend on the opening times of the venue.

Will I get paid?

No, we don't pay volunteers.

Will I receive a clothing package?

Yes, you will receive a clothing package.

Are meals provided?

Yes, food and drinks are provided. Depending on your shift, you will receive lunch and/or a hot meal with (non-alcoholic) drinks.

Can I visit matches with my accreditation pass?

Volunteers receive an accreditation pass that gives access to the stadium. Of course, it is expected to be used only during the volunteer's break. On days when a volunteer is not working, the accreditation is not a valid admission ticket.
